Emory Magazine Essay Contest

As Emory celebrates 175 years, we invite alumni to join in by sharing something remarkable about their experience here. What did you do at Emory that you could not have done anywhere else?

Perhaps it was a study trip abroad, a friendship with an inspiring professor, an encounter with piece of history, or simply one profound moment in a distinct spot on campus. Maybe you shook hands with the Dalai Lama, or President Jimmy Carter; maybe you touched an ancient mummy or held a rare book; maybe you met the person who changed your life; maybe you looked into a microscope and glimpsed your future.

Tell us about it. The winning essay will appear in our special autumn 2011 anniversary issue.
