Virtual Front Door
New EAA online community makes staying connected easier than ever
The virtual front door of the Emory Alumni Association (EAA) has upped its curb appeal with a new online community and a new web address as its welcome mat.
“We are so excited to launch our entirely new web presence,” says Sarah Cook 95C, senior associate vice president for alumni affairs at the EAA. “It is built to be interactive, with changing content, vibrant images, and easy navigation. The site is loaded with features and stories that showcase the fascinating lives and achievements of our alumni and students.”
The new online community offers alumni easier access to tools to search for classmates, post personal and professional updates, find career contacts and alumni chapters, and search Emory-only classified ads.
Alumni can register for a personalized community experience at alumni. emory.edu/connect, which provides an explanation of the benefits of the EAA Online Community and step-by-step instructions on how to register. All registrants receive a free Emory alumni email address through Google Apps for Education.
“Staying connected as Emory alumni worldwide has never been easier,” Cook says. “We invite all of our alumni to take advantage of everything the new Emory online community network has to offer."
